We aren't together anymore, she broke up with me a long time ago. I basically told her that if she continued with her current lifestyle over the summer, everything would fall apart for her. Low and behold, EVERY night she's called me and complained about her current situation. Now, she's found that lesbian chick and she says she just wants to see where it leads. So I basically have nothing to break off, but we still talk. I'm just confused as to whether that's even worth it.

(With apologies to tplyons.)

Hi, nathan

Relax, she's just doing what the women are best at, messing with our heads. Some do it with style and grace and get whatever they're after. Your ex is IMHO not one of those intellegent ones.

There's a lot of "good ones" around, explore a little. It's worth it.

Just my 0.02€

Stop talking to her! NOW!!!

Yeah man, cut the contact. She's using you. Calling you up and complaining to you is not her right. She broke up with you, she doesn't get the privilege of dumping all her emotional crap on you while she looks for someone else.

...I'm just confused as to whether that's even worth it.

It's not. You'll only end up more hurt later on if you continue to allow her to dump on you. Cut the contact. Now.

Okay so I posted a long time ago on here about a relationship I had with a girl and it ended after the first year of college when we both went to our own towns. She broke up because she wanted to sleep around with other guys and I was pritty angry/depressed/shocked. I mean, why end an obviously good 10 month relationship because you can't control your desires for 2 months of summer?

We still talk every night. It's hard on me. She complains that she's not getting laid and that her prospective hook-ups don't like her. I have no sympathy for her.

A couple nights ago, she calls me and tells me she wants to get back together. She didn't want to do it right away, but within the next couple weeks. That's cool, I thought. She's realizing she made a mistake and she's trying to fix it.

THEN tonight she calls me and tells me that she "hooked up" with a lesbian girl at a club and is really thinking a lot that she actually might want a lesbian relationship.

This is insane. I love her and I want to get back with her, but I can't put up with her **** like this anymore.

What do I say to her? what do I do? I'm so confused by this situation!!!!

Dude... dude... :rollno:

Read "the Game" by Neil Strauss. This girl is not special, there are other women out there, better ones too. F**k 10 other ones and see if she still seems so special.

Stop talking to her because she obviously doesn't care about you. Hell, if you do she may even want you more (i guarantee it actually).

Yeah you guys are right. It's just hard, because she's the first person I've been in a really serious relationship with. She didn't act like this in the relationship. It's hard for me to go from loving somebody for 10 months to cutting them out of my life, but it sounds like it's for the best.

Also, I'm terrible at approaching women haha, so it would be hard for me to "f*ck 10 others". I play the mysterious side, haha.

Dude, she is just a stupid hoe.

There are tons of stupid hoes to choose from.

Hoes come in all shapes and sizes.

10 months really is nothing. Don't even talk to that slut anymore, bro. I can't believe you even talked to her after she pulled that stunt.

As ice cube said....

"If your b**ch gets out of line, set her on fire."

Could be the end of thread if you guys want it. Thanks for the replies, but I'm always always looking for advice from ANYBODY on this situation so if you want to still reply to this that would be great. Otherwise, thanks. It's a really tough decision for me to make and I really don't deserve this to be happening to me after how I treated her. Things happen i guess.

She's seeking attention, and as long as you'll give it to her, she'll keep doing crazy things because at the end of the day you're still talking to her on the phone. I've been in a somewhat similar situation before, and the best thing you can do is stop paying attention to her. Don't call her, don't answer her calls, don't comment her myspace, etc......if it was really meant to be, she'll eventually come around. But it won't be anytime soon. Patience my man.

Seriously, this book "The Game" is about a man who goes from barely being able to get a date, to being the best pick-up artist in (pretty-much) the world. It can really teach you a lot about human interaction and how to get better at it.

P.S. I'm not really a person that goes out on a night to find some bimbo to screw. Maybe I should, but thats not the point. Its more a testament to confidence and being the best person that you are. Don't let some fear of a talking to a woman you want to talk to stop you from talking to her. Ya know?

P.S.S My first relationship was for about 10 months (1 year actually) before she broke it off, my second was with the same girl for about 8 months before she broke it off, my third... the same for about 5 months before I broke it off. I had wasted 3 years on this girl, some great times sure, but what a freaking waste. And I'm sure we all have one of these tales of woe, the trick is to move on and enjoy life. You're young, fertile, eager, strong and full of life; use that energy!

I had something very similar a couple of years ago. If you have her back or keep letting her be in charge then she won't change and this will just get worse. In my case I met someone else soon after telling her I couldn't put up with it any more. I actually live in the same town as her now and we get along great - no regrets either.
