Ok TB help me out here. I am still looking for a 35" scale, medium/high quality bass that I can tune down to A and sometimes Ab. I am looking at 5 stringers too, but for my purposes, I will use a heavier set of BEAD strings to try to achieve a good grindy report down in the dark tones, and interested in anyones knowledge of 35-scale 4 stringers.

Peavey Cirrus basses (at least the first ones) are all 35" scale whether four or five string. I learned the hard way because the first Cirrus I played was a four string fretless without lines. I assumed it was a 34" scale and started to play "Badge" on it... hopelessly out of tune...

Also Lakland now makes all their basses available in either 35" or 34" scale regardless of number of strings.
