I have 34" and 35" 4strings and 5strings. For me I like the way the 35" scale feels. I'm 6'3" and have long arms so it is a comfort thing. On my 35" 5string I think the B string is a little tighter than on the 34" 5 string, but not enough to complain about.
Spector Euro435LX and Spector Euro4LX TW-35. I've got the first one and must say it's a killer with both standard and low BEAD tuning. The other one TW-35 is double humbucker version. And it's not longer overall than the 34" 'cause another inch is added by moving the bridge back to the edge of the body. So it's as comfortable as 34".
