I really, really love my f5-e.

I want something rather cheap to take on the road. So in event of theft or damage. It won't be such a heart break

I bought a Lakland Skyline expressly for that purpose: Because I realized that all my other basses were unique, custom, or prized-yet-no-longer-available...and it would devestate me if they were lost or damaged on the road.

So I found a Lakland Skyline 55-02D that is at least 90% as good as any of my other basses, and yet if some piker knocks it off the stand between sets at the local Sisters Of The Blessed Pudenda Spring Fling dance and the thing completely self-destructs, I can go down to Guitar Center the next day and buy that exact same bass right off the shelf.

It's got a 35" scale length, fwiw.

So does my Modulus and my Rob Allen.
