Yeah...prices got really stupid over the past few months. I don't suppose I can still snag that groove regulator from you cheaply anymore. Super glad I have the chromatron, but do wish I had held onto my original Groove Regulator.

My Doom 2 is always on. Set the gain to minimum, to my ears it acts like the cabsim element I used to get from a BDDI.

And for playing that needs a fuzz, I just crank up the gain. Combined with a Synth Voice Deluxe it's a killer synth sound.

Ive had good luck with these, if Im engaving octave in a song I switch the buttons, but I mostly keep it like this. You can't tell but they are at different heights as well

I'm sure glad I got my 3Leaf stuff when I did. I think I paid $150 for my You're Doom on eBay maybe 6 months ago. Wonderlove v1 sat here for weeks at $175 last winter. And I felt like I overpaid for my Octabvre Mini at $200 last December.

Stuff's good, though. Hard to see parting with it.

I seem to recall the Doom 2 being a slightly different circuit then the Doom or the You're Doom, but I could be mistaken. It's definitely in a different case if that matters to anyone.

I think we're talking about the original You're Doom pedal, which at some point got a rename to simply "Doom", sans "You're". The joke is that the You're Doom is quite a bit more desirable because of the name.

Doom 2 is a totally different pedal. But the You're Doom and plain old Doom are the same thing except their name, I'm pretty sure.

I believe that’s correct as well. I seem to remember that’s what Spencer said when the You’re Doom was rebranded to just Doom.

I got my 3Leaf stuff years ago when prices were reasonable. Only the Doom has eluded me.

I’m sure most folks here saw that Mk1 Octabvre on reverb a few months ago that was listed for $950 Canadian. I wonder what it sold for?…

Hey 3Leaf thread. Reading about some of the speculation and the business side of things reminded me to post... I'd picked up a Proton v4 at the first of the year. Encountered zero issues. Ordered and it showed up 3 days later. Been on my board ever since.

It is a great sounding and fun filter. Thick, juicy, lively feel, and great range.. As others mentioned, I'm also glad I was able to get one before the buying/selling made them a PIA for musicians to acquire

I am looking for a doom (not doom 2) or you're doom pedal if anyone is willing to sell for normal market price (used). I don't get the used condition inflated 3leaf prices that are happening. I rather put $400-$600 towards a Wal bass or Stenback bass.

Thanks for clarifying the differences between the Dooms. I always assumed the Doom 2 contained the You're Doom circuit within because of the toggle. I'm glad I didn't trade one for the other because the You're is really something unique
