If anyone hates thier money and wants to pay an extra $100 for no reason, I'll preorder one for you and keep the difference. Or if the $100 is to not wait out the preorder, I'll send you mine.

For a Canadian customer, with the high gain mod and shipping, it comes up to 375$, and since Spencer uses DHL, we're guaranteed to be hit with brokerage fees of about 40$.. So 400$ is sadly not a bad deal... I'm passing on this round but the temptation will build up for the next batch I'm sure.

I had a Doom2 before and liked it as is, missed it and now will have one again. I’d rather stick with what I know. And I know it will sound great right after the Octabvre. Excited to hear or at least read about the High gain though.

I was curious about the high gain mod but decided against it. If anyone is going to have a standard doom 2 and a high gain mod, they should make a comparison video, would def appreciate!

I agree, I wanted the Doom 2 sound, I can find screaming fuzz anywhere. However, the sentiment that there could be too much gain on something is what I found crazy haha.

Kind of glad I spaced on this. Not sure I would have been able to pass on a high gain D2.

Might be interested in trading my standard D2 sometime though.

If I had to guess I'd say there was maybe 30-50 units of each. At least going off the images of the pedal chassis there was 20+ of each minimum unless he decided not to use them all..

I was lucky enough to grab an Octabvre. I wasn't able to grab one from the 1st run. My last Octabvre was an mk 1 that was pretty awesome. Back then I was sporting a Wonderlove and original Doom. The boys are getting back together! Chromatron and Doom 2 will be very happy!
