3Leaf Audio Club - Episode 2

Was looking for a envelope filter to replace my MXR M82 and while looking into the Proton I stumbled across the You're Doom clips ....before I realized what happened I'd ordered one!.... Kinda funny because I'm totally not an impulse buyer; usually I research something forever, think about it for 3 months and then order it. I think Spencer laced those clips with something..... ;)

The Proton is the next on my list but being I ordered 3 pedals this week the M82 is gonna have to stick around a bit longer.

No picture no pedal, I know. Giving out numbers still? 1385776236116.jpg

I AM DOOM! Just got it today, the post office really came through!

Thanks Spencer for such an awesome pedal - You're Doom is the fuzz sound in my head, but better in every way. It sounds so good with the sub octave of my micro pog! And it nails that Muse vibe too!

If anyone is still giving out numbers, I'll take one!!! :hyper:

(I'll try to snap a pic of my board later too)

Awesome! The response has been great so far which is fantastic because I think it's the best circuit I've designed.

I've been playing with mine for the past hour or so, just turning knobs, and I Can't get it to sound bad. I'm seriously trying. The Great thing is even with just the tiniest bit of clean mixed in, it sounds huge and full. Plays nice with my vmt as well. Likes being pushed. Very cool.

It's good that you mention that - my favorite way to run it is with a VMT in front just dirtying my signal up a bit. I roll the tone on my P bass back all the way and use the clean blend on the Doom to blend some clean low end underneath the fuzz signal. Instant Stevie Wonder bass (especially if you palm mute).

Posted on the fuzz thread too but here goes ... The you're doom is real bad ass- spencer got the dynamic response thing down on this, punchy synth tones with lower gain settings ( my fave) and very tight non-mushy fuzz- works well with the wonderlove if you turn the tone knob to right to cut highs- nasty funk but controlled- this pedal is great-

I'd love to see a photo of your whole board...
