The You’re always has the octave up baked in too. The Your switch allows for all fatness. Had the You’re for years but have a DOOM 2 now and have zero regrets.

I'm one of the few that prefers the OG. I have had a couple iterations of the Doom 2 and the straight Doom (post You're I believe but same circuit and pre-2) is the one that I kept. It could have been placebo, but it was easier to dial in what I wanted from the older Doom and so I passed on the 2s I ended up with.hi guys, I searched but couldn't find dedicated breakdown anywhere - what is the consensus of OG You're Doom vs Doom 2? Is Doom 2 strictly better i.e. has same sound/function + an upgrades (like your/you're switch)? Or is it just different?
Yes, LPF on Doom 2 as well: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]Thanks so much for he replies! Since I asked I did some research and see that Tone control on OG Doom is 2pole LPF (talk about unique approach!!!). Is Treble on Doom2 the same? Because that's a distinguishing factor, not gonna lie

I went high gain this time. I'm hoping I dig it more than the regular otherwise I'll pass it along...I don't need such a fancy and expensive fuzz sitting on a shelf.same bro. cant wait to dive in the synth fuzz bliss once it arrives. Cheers!

Sorry for spoilering but you guys can just really look forward to receiving your jade metallic DOOM 2. Looks awesome (and sounds awesome as well)!
This is my personal once in a lifetime achievement for someone living in Europe and ordering a pedal in the US![]()
Likewise, if anyone wants to trade a Jade for a Blood Red, please PM me.Zexy, dig this colorway, if anyone wants to trade for the classic white on oil reactive steel let me know
Let me know how you like the high gain, Ive been curious a out it but typically use the Doom 2 at very low gain
wish I had the original to compare to but I’m really digging this high gain version. I can’t decide if I’m gonna keep it or not but I’m way more into it than the other one I parted ways with. It’s also gorgeous
I can't speak for the revoiced HGM, but the original HGM could do the same low gain settings as the standard version. But because the same turn of the knob moves the gain on the HGM that much more, it took a lot more precision to make subtle changes in gain.Is it still capable of the low gain settings like the original Doom 2? Does the high gain version just have a wider range?
