And you should be. I tried out my new/old Squier JV Precision with LaBella flats during today's rehearsal and was once again drooling over the YD's sound (also in combination with the Wonderlove). It's a thing of beauty!

Hey guys - I just posted a couple of youtube videos of Tim Lefebvre and Ryan Stasik using the Wonderlove/Doom combo. You can check them out on the 3Leaf facebook page. Paul Turner has been using that combo too but I don't have any clips of him up yet.

Hi,
currently this is what my board looks like... But I was wondering, I have an mxr bass compressor in my hands. Would it be worth while to slap that dude at the end of my chain for peek limiting and move the pwnzor all the way up front (after the thrumpinator)? I'm asking because I'm having a hard time putting my M87 for sale..

Alright, so thus far I've spent a couple hours or so with the You're Doom.

I'm really digging how responsive it is. Still getting the hang of how to control the dynamics exactly the way I want and in conjunction with the knobs, which are very flexible. It reminds me a lot of the Source Audio Multiwave Bass Distortion, but I appreciate the You're Doom's simplicity (comparatively speaking) and slightly warmer, more organic sound, if I'm remembering correctly.

Yes...I was also kind of reminded of the MWBDs Single Band Octave settings. And yes...the YD is much more...uhm..."there" than the MWBD, which always seemed a tad distant and muffled in comparison...

True bypass: when bypassed the input socket is directly connected to output socket through switch or relay contacts, completely isolating the bass signal from pedal circuitry.

Buffered bypass: when bypassed the bass signal is still routed through at least some pedal circuitry, e.g. an op-amp buffer or AD-DA converters.

Each method has advantages & disadvantages & there are plenty of resources out there for your learning pleasure!
