If you're referring to the light flashing when you're not actually compressing, it's the bypass switch. The compressor is still operating, but it's in bypass mode. I think there is an internal switch to turn that off.

The internal switch controls true or buffered bypass. When the pedal is in buffered, the compression circuit is working, just not active. The LED you see is the actual LED in the optical circuit.

I found Invalid Link Removed but it didn't mention much about the litle dim red light when the pedal's not activated... leaflet says "actuate."? I'm a frenchy, so I'll need to google what that word actually means!

Sorry if this has been asked before, but two threads is a lot to go through.

Anyway I've been using my Enabler for a while now and it's awesome. I know you need a power supply with a high mA rating to use the headphone amp. What I was wondering is if you you're not using the headphone amp, can you get away with a lower mA rated power supply? If so, what is the minimum I would need to just run it as a preamp/di?

No, it always needs 300mA.

Much more of reading about all you players loving the knobs off your You're Doom pedals and talking about how it's "synthy" and I'm not going to be able to resist any longer. *sigh* Just ordered a bass though, so the YD will have to wait a bit longer...
