Yep! Your symptoms were exactly the same as mine. Huge gain spike, then zilch.

I was playing with my new setup and I can't believe it but I have found something that I would like added to my Enabler. Wouldn't be cool if the gain or a secondary boost (but could just be the gain) was on a separate footswitch? So you could use it as a boost whenever you wanted to drive the amp/preamp it is going into higher?

The delay is actually okay with me... I'm still trying to recover from a perfect storm of bills & unforeseen expenses in May, so My wallet won't cry about a little more wait. Because of that, plans for my bigger board are on temporary hold... a Timeline and an Infinity are just looking at me, waiting for some action. Lol

Was reading the other day that the Proton is a Mutron clone of sorts. Does anyone who has one also have a Mutron III that they could compare it to? I am always looking for excellent Mutron type pedals that work in smaller and easier to power packages.

In some ways I'm a bit less-than-savvy technically. Can someone link me to a viable 1/8" to 1/4" stereo cable that I can use to play music from my laptop or iPod through my 3Leaf Enabler's 1/4" Aux In port (preferably through Amazon.com or Sweetwater)?

Clover, run to your Radio Shack and pick up a stereo-stereo 1/8"-to-1/4" converter plug. I have two in my Enabler right now for the phones and aux in. Then, any cable in any situation will work.

They're like $7, and all metal so they won't break.

BTW, cable quality will make a difference in your aural experience. A 99¢ cable from Monoprice will not sound the same as a Mogami wire with Neutrik tips....not that I am saying it's worth it, but rather there can be a difference in quality.

BTW, I'm just using a Radio Shack cable for both the headphone extension and the Aux. in cable. Gold tips and sturdy enough

I've been messing around with my You're Doom a fair but over the last few days and I've finally settled on a few sounds. For me, with the Moog influenced tones I'm going for, its just easier to get them with a P bass with flats and the tone rolled off (as Spencer suggested).

With a Proton and an Iron Ether Subterranea I've found so many cool and very usable synth sounds. I'm dialling in many of the sounds from the Snarky Puppy album as I get
to really understand all the options. So stoked!!!

I played around some more with just the YD and got a pretty great approximation of the 'Chameleon' bass track. Again with the P bass with flats.

Spencer did you did this thing with your P bass with flats? It's like they're made in heaven.
