I've tried mailing my underwear to several pedal builders and all I ever got was a restraining order.
There is a lot of opinion trying to be passed off as fact with the OC-2. Although I love mine, it's not "the best" for every single player out there bar none.

The OC-2 with the volume knob at max was the same volume as what you put into it. I'm adding gain so that you can make it louder if desired.

Unfortunately a legal matter came up which I am forced to deal with, so everything is delayed. Sorry guys.
I love my 3leaf pedals, and Spence is bar far my favourite builder (both for his pedals and customer service). However the covers band where I was getting the most use of my Proton and Doom is no longer, and I don't have a lot of use for them in the new originals indie rock band I've joined.
So thinking the Proton's going to be leaving my board for a while. Will keep the Doom - I'm sure I'll find some use for it, but now I'm hoping a 3leaf OD isn't too far away!

It took me a while to warm up to the Doom as I've never been a fuzz guy, but I stuck with it and it's now a mainstay on my main board. I've got the Proton and Doom dialed nicely on their own (thick gurgly filter and mid-ish gain "overdrive" settings) and the combo of the two makes for some killer synthy goodness. With one step, I can combo either one with the Octamizer in between, or step with my whole foot and hit all three at once for a huge dirty synthy goodness that can rattle teeth.
Doom stays.

I've had a similar experience. Randomly turning knobs, I found some great sounds, but I had to spend a while with the pedal before I understood how i was getting there lol.
I jammed with a couple buddies last night. We are potentially going to start a 3 piece band..very refreshing after spending the last few years mainly playing with a 6 piece (so much space, in more ways than one!). I flipped the Doom on a couple of times and it really shined in that setting!
