3leaf Audio is having a sale!!

I'm having the sale because last year I noticed that my sales slowed way down in the summer months. I'm trying to be proactive about that this year.

TalkBass is a great place to sell your stuff! Everyone loves your GR here! I'll be ordering one soon :D

I don't think there's any way to improve on it (GR v2.0)!
..unless he engineers a ridiculous switch that makes the effect(s) in the FX Loop usable when the GR's disengaged..

I went and checked out the 3leaf site a couple of days ago because I'd heard so much about the GR here on TB. When I saw that Spencer was having a summer sale I didn't hesitate to place my order. For those of you who might be interested in a Groove Regulator, tomorrow (the 13th) is your last chance to take advantage of the sale!

I tend to tweak my GR quite frequently, but lately I've been using it with all the switches up and all the knobs at noon except for intensity which I've been keeping cranked or at about 3 o'clock for some seriously greasy filter tones with a nice bubble-gum POP on thumped notes.

Quite possibly my favorite pedal on my board. Combined with my MXR BOD I end up with some SERIOUSLY sweet synth sounds.

I ordered mine last Wednesday. 9 minutes later I had a tracking number in my email box!!! From Washington state to the Florida Keys in time for my Friday gig! Great service and packaging.
I tried it at home and it sounded really good, but not sure if it was worth the extra dough compared to what I was using. Took both to the gig and the 3leaf just killed!!! No question how much better it sounded with the band. Other pedal is now a paper weight. Power trio setting, and it just sounded amazing!!!
Thanks Spencer!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, for those folk who are curious about the unit - here's how it arrives - nicely packaged. I'm going to give the unit a run through and hope to post some soundclips or videos this weekend.

Poor quality camera clip (and yes, I do know I look like my usual Saturday Slob!!!).

First impression, the unit's filter sound is not as extreme as with a Q-Tron or a Mutron, in that the bass still retains it's fundamental bottom end with the filter sound mixed in. However, what this means is that the sound produced sits extremely well in a band setting as you still have the low end "oomph" with the "squelch" of the filter making things nice and funky.

The camera audio isn't good, so you can't really appreciate what I'm about to say here - the filter acts just as well on the low notes as it does on the higher ones - now THAT is something which makes me very happy!!
