the bassman has the original speakers in it but it would take an hour to unscrew the back. the speakers are the standard ones used in the late 60's with the black frame and the blue label on the back with fender on it.

i had one back in 1968. the back of the speaker cabinet has 36? 2 inch screws. i had to remove the back one night when i burned the speaker leads on one speaker. the distortion light would come on at 1.5 on the volume control-piece of crap! i paid 400.00 for it and sold it with the bass for 110.00 a few years later. the parts on the circuit board would rattle loose and have to be resoldered--piece of crap!
