I was thinking about getting a GK CX410 & a GK CX210 bass cabinets to use live. I would use the 410 cabinet at smaller gigs & add the 210 for larger places. I would be able to bring both with me so I would know what I need when I see the room.
If I get an 4 ohm 410 & an 8 ohm 210, I would be at 2.67 ohms? I will probably be using an Ampeg SVT 3 Pro which is rated is only rated down to 4 ohms. Could this damage the amp? How about a GK RBH1001?
Would I be better off getting an 8 ohm 410 with a 4 ohm 210 & rewire the 210 to 16 ohms? That would make the total loan 5.3 ohms?
I want to makes sure all speakers are getting the same amount of power.
