.......which is what I did, and it's great. 2x10's are (almost)always wired parallel. So I got an 8 Ohm 2x10 and wired it series, to 16 Ohms.
An 8 ohm 2x10 parallel wired uses 16 ohm drivers. Wire them in series you have a 32 ohm cab.
Using a series/parallel switch your impedance options are 2/8 ohms, 4/16 ohms or 8/32 ohms, using 4, 8 and 16 ohm drivers respectively.
