410 Cabinet Plans?

Thanks, guess I will go off of Eminence's cab design data. So if I multiply their specs for a 1x10 I get a cab with a total volume 5.36 cu ft.

Easy nuff, but they call for two 3" port tubes at ~4" long per driver. Rather than mount 8 tube ports, any ideas how I would calculate this into a single slot port at the bottom of my cab? I can build the cabs in my sleep, designing/tuning them...ehhh..

You just need to keep the cross-sectional area the same. One 3-inch round port has an area of 7.069 sq.in.; 8 of those have an area of 56.552 - call it 56.5 sq.in. The depth will remain the same.

So, no one's argument for building two 210's was persuasive, I gather? :D

Haha nope, I play heavy basses, heavy tube heads, and build heavy cabinets - and that's after heaving lumber and plywood all day. Doesn't make a lick of sense, but we're stuck on our ways...
