410 TVX Help??

Hi

Iam new to Talk Bass and was looking for some advice!

I borrowed a Peavey 410 TVX (4ohm) and it was left with my head at the local practice room as storage. The next time i went to use the cab and head it was clear somebody had been abusing it.

They have managed to break it in such a way that only the sound seems to come out of the tweeter. When i crank the volume on my head sound eventually comes from the speakers and i can turn it back down, however it is only the top left and bottom left speakers that are working. The signal is also at times very "crackley".

the head and cables iam using are fine, i have been using them ever since with my other cab.

hopefully somebody can advise me on whats wrong so i can start fixing it!

Not sure but it sounds like it my have a couple of blown speakers based on what you said, but I am no tech expert. I believe there is a way to test the speakers your self. Hopefully you will get some more response sorry I could not be of more help. Try the search function on blown speakers and see if anything comes up on how to test the speakers and if you can't find any info contact Peavey and talk to a Tech Invalid Link Removed
