4th build , roasted birdeye maple neck tru

Been dreaming for a open headstock bass for a while and decided to build one , the neck and fingerboard come from hades roasted maple .
specs :
34 inch scale
medium roasted flame maple fingerboard , optic fiber illuminated dots, and frets
seamour duncan phase 2 soapbars
seamour duncan blackout preamp (still working on wiring shema )
repurpose bridge and tuners
brass nut
22 inches truss rod
Controls moved from top to under the bass body
neck wood is a dark roasted birdeye maple
body is cherry top , ash middle , cherry back , the cherry come from a tree that my grandfather cut 15 years ago and the ash come from ol palets
the truss rod acces has a cover extended to the neck pu

This week is optic fiber time ... its a very long process

if anyone other than me that know about the SD blackout preamp , when I bought it reading the description it says its bass compatible , the question i got is to have 2 volume for each pu with 2 tone , or is there something better to make out of it

where did you get the roasted maple?

Back from the dead , finaly bought a house so projects changed a bit and time went away and build this too

but ill get working on the bass very soon
