4track tape recorder HELP!

This may be a newbie question:

We had to resort to the old 4 track tape recorder. My problem is the master tape plays in stereo and when we attempt to duplicate it, the copies are in mono. This wouldn't be bad if we only had one ear. (no disrespect to the one eared folk) How do we make it copy into stereo? Any ideas?

Please help.

You need to mixdown your 4 tracks to stereo-(2).

You can mix down and burn CD(s) with your computer (with the right hardware/software)

Or you can connect your 4-track recorders outputs to a mixer, with at least 4 input Channel's
and then run this mixers stereo output to any stereo recorder/CD burner.
