4x10 Cabinets

If you play rock or metal nothing beats the punchy/detailed/massive sound of Mesa cabs. In these applications they are a step up from the darker sounding Ampeg cabs, IMO. For other styles (like jazz, etc) other cabs are easier to work with.

Not sure what is available in Switzerland though.

Hi guys,
I am using a SVT3 and need to get a new cabinet for it. Any advice on relatively affordable 4x10?
Currently looking at:
Ampeg PF 410HLF
Eden EX 410
Gallien Krueger Neo 410 or MBE-II

If your choices are limited to these cabs, I would lean towards the Eden cab but I would do as bulldawg82 suggested and look for a used D410XLT. Great cab for rock and will cut through the mix with authority. The used prices on these seem to be quite reasonable lately. They are not lightweight but they are built like a tank.

I have a pair of GK 410 NEO's that I absolutely love, but they don't seem to work as well with any other amp besides my GK 700rbII.

Hi Hopkins,

Im searching since a few days about the "perfect" combinations: 4x10+1x15...1x15+2x12, 2x410 (8x10)...

Well, i think my amplifier will be the GK MB Fusion 800. And im thinking to buy 2x410 GK Neo Series (8x10).

I never played in NEO Series... What do you think about 2xNEO 410 in terms of low-end/punch? Its a good option?

Thanks,
