5-0-5??? Wassat?

At last night's gig someone made the remark "you can tell if the music students know anything by asking them what 5-0-5 is". Didn't have a chance to ask further before we kicked off. Does that mean anything to anyone here?

In other news, I'm just working Ray Brown's diminished scale exercises from his Bass Method book. Truly meaty stuff.

It’s not as good as the 808, or even the 606. But it does keep a beat.

I believe that would be 5 parts nitrogen, 0 parts phosphate, and 5 parts potash.
If I recall correctly, the nitrogen would encourage plants to produce more leafy growth and the potash will encourage buds to bloom and fruit to ripen.
But, I've been away from gardening for a while, so I may be mistaken...
