Had a 5er, progressed to a 6er, regretted spending the money on a 5.

love the 6. just wish fender made one
I'll stick with my 5. I have no need for a 6. I look at it this way. I you need, musically a 5, get a 5. If you need, musically a 6 , get a 6. Don't just get one because you think it's cool.

I personally think that happens to anyone who gets a bass they like better than the previous bass. I know when I went from my laguna to my ibanez I wished I never spent the cash on the laguna.Had a 5er, progressed to a 6er, regretted spending the money on a 5.

The wrong six can feel very uncomfortable if the specs don't match what you're looking for, which can turn people off to a six-string. The little things that you might be able to deal with on a five-string are more emphasized on a six. Make sure you play several first to find the specs you're comfortable with.
give them time.. they take a change.
