5 string bass, going from B-G to E-C- Questions

Hi all, just that simple. Have a couple 5 string basses that don't get played so much these days, thinking of going E-C on at least one of them.
I assume the nut might/will need changing, but anything else to be aware of? Any suggestions for strings? I want balanced output and sound and minimal twang from higher string(s).

Been playing a long time but E-C tuning and setup will be new to me.

fwiw I converted one of my BEADG 5-string basses to EADGC, and other than a minor tweak of the trussrod it needed no further work. Original nut works fine.
Bonus: It sounds much better strung EADGC than it ever did strung BEADG! Something about the low B string was always anemic, missing punch.

But I suspect that's not going to be the case for every 5-string that gets restrung, so manage your expectations.

Cool, thanks for the response. I did some reading and apparently my bass shipped when new with low and high strings but only one nut, so I suppose I'm good. It also has a B string I don't love, hoping this may address that too.

You will need to tweak both the truss rod and the bridge saddles intonation. I did the opposite: for some time I had an Ibby BTB845V I did the opposite to: changed from E-C to B-G. A little nut modification for the larger diameter strings and tweaked the truss rod and bridge saddle intonation.
