I'm calling this done for now.

I'm probably going to contour the top and back in the near future, and thin the neck even more. All in all, I am happy with it. It sounds great (except the time at the New England Talk Bass get-together, when one of the molex connectors inside came loose...I plugged it into a 1000w head on a fEARful 15/16/6/6 cabinet and gave 50+ people tinnitus for a week...) I'll get some soundclips up soon.

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciated the comments, critiques, and advice along the way. Build threads make building that much more fun. I'm trying to figure out what to build next... I'm thinking another fretless 5, same shape with narrower string spacing (17mm vice 19mm) thinner neck, piezo pickups into the same pre, and toned-down wood choices. Maybe ebony top and fingerboard, maple neck, mahogany body. Stay tuned!
