Hey Adam, this build is looking really cool. I wholeheartedly agree on the f/board decision. The glossy finish might look cool on another build. But on yours a more subdued one is IMHO the way to go. It just goes well with the body and especially with the large MOP dots. I also find spot on the decision of leaving the p-up exposed and the color is definitely a classy touch. Well done!
Perhaps, given the small size of the body I would have anchored the strings from the back and leave just the saddles on the top. oh yeah...and smaller knobs
