5 string jazz blocked & bound, MIM or what?

This was his bass I believe, if you are talking about TBer "Lostrings". The BA5 was on it when I got it. The original bridge is 17mm if I remember.

Yep that's the one. He said it was too narrow even after putting the BA5 on it. I'm still confused on whether or not to get that bass or not. Maybe I'll try it out and if it doesn't work for me I can sell it here on TB.

Do you have a line on one? They don't make them anymore. This bass is WAY different than the SX jazz basses the sell now.

Yes I do. I hear they are better quality than SX.

I had one of those Bryce 5 strings. I really regret selling it. I've seen it recently on craigslist in Denver.
The neck is a norma size I think. I cut a few pieces of rubber from somewhere, and put in between the saddles on the bridge. I got some real good string spacing that way.
Then I got a Fender Jazz 24 Deluxe V, which I think is great, but I do regret selling the Bryce. It had one of the sweetest neck I've ever played. And I could set up the action as low as I wanted. I might try to get it back.

Much better quality than the SX basses. I think these were a bit more retail than the $100-200 SX range when they were available. I know they bring a higher $ value nowadays...
