Hi , I'm planning a 34/35 ? scale , 5 string ,24 fret ,thru neck build and need neck dimensions .The nut will be 1 7/8 so what will be the width at 12 fret or end of 24ft ? Thanks

Unless you're using "single bridges", like the ABM or Etc, you'll need to decide which bridge you're going with, this will govern your overall width, from your 1 7/8". Are you using a bridge with 17mm spacing? 19mm? The best practice (IMO,IME), is to draw out your overall scale length and string spacing @ both ends (saddles to the nut), on a long piece of cardboard and be sure to add 1/8"- 1/4" (Some like more space from the edge of the fretboard than others) to each side of the width.

Thanks guys ,I did some" necessity is the mother of invention" thinking and came up with the same answer . Was'nt sure about the offsets tho .Anybody used the new Babicz hardware (no relation ),new concept, (strings lie flatter ,more contact ,better adjustment etc )cool idea ,costs tho !! Thanks again !Back to the drawing board .
