5 string set used on a 4 string?

Noticed that some flats come in gauges i dont want. But the 5 string set does.
Stupid question but can you just use everything but the B and it will still fit a 4 string?

Not Really you would have to make the nuts bigger to get that done serorist your better off just geting a 5 string.

Absolutely. Done it often when in a bind and only having fiver sets laying around.

Yes. Many companies even sell for string sets only and single low b strings are additional.

yeah you can do it. you can also do it the other way around an not use the G.
