51 p mock up 5 string

That looks like it should work to me, I really don't know what those GC guys are talking about.
Like Matt said earlier, if you use some dental floss, strung up nice and taught with tape on just the outer strings,
you'll get a very accurate idea of where the strings will be on the fretboard, and where to set the pickup/route.
That also can be fine adjusted side to side, with very minor neck shifts, and/or grooving of the bridge saddles.

Bridge and neck are installed and he said everything lined up so everything’s fine and apparently the body from the pick up cavity is To the bridge is one solid piece so technically, I still could make a double P and I think I might

well to be fair he is a new ish 20 something that has never "built" a bass or guitar from scratch or modded one like mine like this lol he wires and sets up i mean hey even if he shags up on my biuld its a learning experience for him and tbh i'm okay if he does just not to much. we all got to start somewhere right.

a thought just came to my mind if the bridge is just a hair over 19mm and Pickup being at 19mm the nut is at 19mm or a hair under will that mess with anything intonation wise i'mma swap the plastic nut for a blank bone and have it cut to sync will the neck as a whole handle that i'd assume so. i'll be getting it back from the guy this week and gonna grab strings and see how she sings
