51P new-old knobs

I recently got a 91 MIJ and it was just screaming for some bakelite on it. I found these knobs that I pulled off something long forgotten but definitely "of the period".

AND - they don't rattle like the originals.

I am a compulsive knob saver. Situations like this make it realy hard to stop.

Congrats on the bass. That's one of the cool older ones. I'd love to find one of those. Any more pictures or a review? Where'd you find it and how much? Details, man, details! :)

Cool knobs. Love the old bakelite. I had some chicken head knobs on mine for awhile but went back to the originals because they're easier for me for on-the-fly adjustments. Chicken heads look cooler, though.

Why thanks. I like that with these I can either look at or touch the control and have a good indication of where it's set. I didn't intend that - I only noticed it after putting them on cause I thought they looked like they should've been there the whole time.

Here's a few snaps from our recent monthly engagement at the Sportsmen's Tavern in Buffalo. Original bands out there on tour should look at this place if you're coming through the area.
