Sadly, I'm big time committed to attending the DC United game. I have season tickets and my buddy and I always get extras for the big games on the calendar, and this one is no exception. There's a chance I'll be by late, but if not, have a great time!

For those that may be interested I'm intending on bringing my Ritter, LeCompte, KR, Custom P, Wishbass, Riverhead and probably my Thumb and my T'Bird. I'll also bring my GK1001 rig and some pedals, etc

I think I had something like 25 RSVPs so there should be a pretty good sized group. And I think a few who have come out to my house before and know the drill didn't bother RSVPing so there may be a few more.

Big surprises for me: My Peavey has a perfectly fine J pickup. At least it sounds great in the hands of a much better player than I am....

BTW, is it just me, or does my noggin look just a bit scorched? Looks like a freakin' planetoid being sucked into a death spiral around a black hole.

The black hole was the refinished Wishnevsky.
Wilser, those basses are fantastic! I loved the zebrawood headless 6 particularly. I just don't have a light enough touch for your setups!

I'd also like to chime in with a big thanks to Phil for hosting this and I'm sure glad I came. There were some phenomenal basses there and it was great to be able to play each for a few minutes.
Phil... Thanks SOOO much for hosting, that was a great time! I was very pleased to play some great basses, and am STILL amazed that there was ANOTHER '81 Ibanez Musician there. Wilser... you can rest assured that I'll be singing your praises in your build threads, as you do AMAZING work!

Thanks so much for the nice time. I was very happy to have stopped by for a bit- wish I could have stayed longer. Next time, I can bring more basses and at least one of my amps as well, if I have a little more time.
It is nice to see there are really cool and talented folks in the area who are bassists, and I glad to have met you. Hopefully we'll see each other somewhere, somehow 'round the area. I have some pics I can post, but they're not as good as what's already been posted- I'm still learning how to operate my wife's digital camera...
