You could look at Lake pickups out of Argentina. They make the pickups for Swan: lakepickups.com
I like the dual coil look on the soapbar. I will look into these.

I've been running these in my 6er since I built it back in 2000. I use them with a Duncan 3 band pre. They all sound great IMHO. I let a friend of mine borrow the bass to do a YouTube demo several years ago. You can get an Idea of how they sound in it.
Swan uses the Triple Agente. They're great: Soapbar Triple Agente – lakepickups.com
FYI, were from the same city!
I sold my Swan, but I have another one coming sometime this month. Shoot me a PM if you want to try it. It's a 6 string with Triple Agente pickups and a four-band Mike Pope preamp!
Hello all,
Recently been searching for a 6 string pickup option, soapbar (ideally not EMG sized, P4 would be much closer to what I have, 118mm cavity). I searched for previous threads and all were making recommendations for pickups that are not available anymore from what I saw.
I have looked at Nordstrand offerings, Bart, MEC, Delano etc. Nothing has quite struck me as the right fit. I liked Nordstrand Big Singles and Zenblades, but they are pricey and I only need a single pickup.
Any ideas? Let me know if you are selling one as well![]()
If you have only looked and possibly listened to Youtube videos, that would not really tell you much. Bartolini and EMG have been around forever for good reason. My pickup experience with 3rd party 6 strings are Delano, Bartolini, EMG and Nordstrand. Bartolini and Delano offer quad coil options which to me is might as well. EMG offers construction options (Ceramic, Ceramic Steel and Alnico ) and are pretty much blades underneath without making a big deal about it. Nordstrand has wild ads and product descriptions and generally higher output, but they are good but are not necessarily better than the rest. Yamaha MIJ pickups on the old TRBP-6 are really good. Ask @Wasnex . They are pickups I'd like to pull out and put on other basses.
