6 String Multi-scale P Bass

I get it, Dingwall does it, but would angling a P pickup actually be necessary?
The Aguilar pickup in vertical, reverse P mounting would put the polepieces at similar spots in their respective string lengths, barring the usual "jump" between the A and D strings that would be mitigated, relatively speaking, by the multiscale thing.

Another option I'm determined to try in my next eventual Kiesel multiscale bass is to have an EMG 45PX (P in soapbar housing) in the neck position. They offer it in both a P or reverse P option. By my measurements, the angle can be appropriately done with proper string coverage.
