6 String Strings

Hi There!

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows the difference between D'Addario's EXL 165-6 (Nickelplated steel 32-135) and the D'Addario EPS 170-6 XL (Prosteels 30-130) series. Their website doesn't seem to help me much...

My current set is GHL, but the D'Addario's are cheaper. I would appreciate it if you folks could help me out here!

The EPS 170-6 are fully steel strings, whereas the others are a steel core with a nickel wrap.

The steels will be a lot brighter sounding than the nickel.

if you go to juststrings.com they have the string tensions listed on there if you're worried about them being too tight or too loose..
