6 string users...which Bass Stand

my apologies if this is in the wrong section.

Ive been using an old style type of bass stand for my Elrick 6xer....As my bass almost took a devastating header the last gig(caught it just in time...whew) ...im was hoping to buy something alitte more rugged and solid...

Whats' you guys uzing???

I generally use a Hercules double stand for my sixes. Clasps the neck securely, fairly bump-proof. One note though is that my 35" Elrick sixes used to be a tiny bit too long for it- they would touch the leg of the stand instead of rest on the stand's body support. My 34" Elrick sixes work just fine with it though.

The Hercules GS-455b can accommodate a nut width up to 2.165". For wall hangers I like the String Swing wooden mount with the BY03 yoke.
