There was a burst one on Gbase for a while that had the 4 in line headstock and the Bisonic instead of the single coil. I wonder if anyone here ended up buying it.

I don't remember exactly but I think it was close to $5k. I do recall most people I asked on various forums thought it was a high price.
I remember that one. There is a thread about it in the Let's Talk Guild forum.

That's a beautiful early one from 64 or 65. Having access to her boyfriend's vast and extensive vintage bass collection she obviously picked the coolest one from the lot.

I love the Guilds and have a few, but no original Jetstars. I do have a case for one though. I bought it for the art! I use it to hold my 1979 SD Curlee, but I would love to find a fretless Jetstar for it.

Welcome Captainbs. Do you any pics? Does it have the bisonic pickup or the later 'Mickey Mouse' one?
To give you an idea that original '66 (serial SD 240) with 'Mickey Mouse' pickup + original gig bag sold on ebay.com 2-3 years ago for (if memory serves well) just under $2k. I saved the pictures for reference but can't remember if it went with a Buy It Now or not.
