Long Live Star Trek! The original series is closing in on it's fiftieth anniversary. I was fortunate to be able to get a great deal on the complete remastered original series on DVD. Good times, good times.

Actually, I'm glad you posted that. Outer Limits was another really good 60's Sci-Fi show with really good writing and acting. One of my favorites was "I Robot" with Leonard Nimoy as a snarky reporter covering the murder trial of the robot Adam Link, basically a story asking questions like, can a robot have a soul If so, and can it be determined to be guilty of murder and be held responsible for it, along with questions of what it means to be human and sentient.

Actually, I'm glad you posted that. Outer Limits was another really good 60's Sci-Fi show with really good writing and acting. One of my favorites was "I Robot" with Leonard Nimoy as a snarky reporter covering the murder trial of the robot Adam Link, basically a story asking questions like, can a robot have a soul If so, and can it be determined to be guilty of murder and be held responsible for it, along with questions of what it means to be human and sentient.

We'll be asking question like that more as the future smacks us in the face.

I thought Space 1999 was good when I was a kid. I wonder how it would stand up if I watched it today. At any rate, Star Trek was better. I could sit and watch all day.

I often wonder that same thing myself. That monster from "The Dragon's Domain" haunts me to this day.
