i once tried a set of ti's based on all the internet raves. tried a good 3 months to get along with them. seems as though everyone either loves them or hates them, not much middle ground. i liked the extra mids you get out of them, but they would never go dead. never got used to that loosey goosey tension or the feeling like they were rolling under my fingers, either. sent them to my pal jeff in canada who loves them.Chromes are great, but Justin, have you ever tried Thomastic Infield Jazz Flats. They are very supple and easy to play and sound freakin amazing.
i don't like chromes right out of the box, but they do go dead very nicely and quickly, which is what i want in a flat, otherwise i'd just as soon play rounds. i could never be as manly as justin with the gauges, though. 40-95 for me, thank you.
