I have a precision body which is from 1966. I have the neckplate with serial number and the body has al the details from a body from 1966. The body has an old refin.
But I don't know yet the actual meanings of the different marks. Does anybody know wat the marks in the pick-up cavity and the neckpocket means? I see a S at both places (or perhaps 5).

I have seen the S mark in the pick-up cavity at another 1966 precision. That precision has the mark R in the neckpocket. That precision also has mark VM in the pick-up cavity.
And does anybody know what the little circle in the corner from the pick-up cavity is?

I also have a question about the serial number. The serial number is 134xxx, which is supposed to be a 1966 serial number. Does anybody know if this is an early 1966 number? Or is that difficult to tell? Till now all 1966 basses that I have seen had a higher serial number.
Thanks in advance. I would be nice to know the meanings of these details.
