Howdy. A few things:

Spotify is out - pretty interesting.

Recording with Garbage, recording with Jason Mraz, recording the new season of Californication, mastering the vinyl for the new M83 record, taking meetings for my next producing gig, studying for and music directing the band for the Serge Gainsbourg tribute at the Hollywood Bowl on August 28th.

A full plate! Grateful.

Kauai was awesome, nice to have a real vaca.

Preparing for a big eBay sale that someone will be doing for me in the next couple of weeks. Making piles at my house, my studio, and my cartage company that the dude is going to pick up, itemize, assess, photograph and generate auctions for. It's not going to be wall-to-wall amazing, but there will be a few fun things in there.

You should have kept and auctioned off your various afros from different periods!
"The Beck-era afro"
"The NIN afro"
etc.
That's something I can see going up in value just like Deep Impacts!

On a related side note, I'm very excited to hear the new Garbage material.
Saw them open for the Smashing Pumpkins back in '96.. good times!!

Psyched to hear the Garbage stuff! Can you elaborate on what you're doing w/ Jason Mraz? I thought his last album was amazing . . . anxiously awaiting new material!


btw - bummed to hear the empty tic tac box is peppermint - if it were orange I'da been all over it!!

Definitely curious to hear more about playing with Garbage. Butch Vig has a pretty awesome feel as a drummer!
