What does your jazz bass weigh? I just bought a 75' that weighs 10.5 pounds, but it sounds AMAZING.

I have a '77 Jazz that is 13 lbs. It weighed even more when I had a BAII on it.
I've put my '77 Jazz on the scale recently, it weighs 4.2 kg, which is, I believe, roughly 9.2 lbs... not bad, judging by some of the other posts, but still not a light-weight, in my book.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I certainly was not complaining, but seeing as there are people whose basses measure well under 9, and in the light of the fact that my AmDlx fiver Jazz (ash body, an' all) weighs ~9, I do not consider the '77 to be light... Furthermore, and I guess it needs to be said, I did replace the tuners... I've installed Hipshot Ultra-lights, I'm not really sure how much does that affects the overall weight. For a non-chambered full size Jazz body 9.2 pounds is lighter than average for any era.
