Looks great. Swapped grille cloth on head only, I take it?
I'm thinking of recovering, or making a new cloth grille for my Berg NV412.
Some silver/blue SVT cloth perhaps.. Love the look (& sound) of SVT-VR & matching 810AV, but am happy using the smaller NV412 & lighter Traynor YBA300.
Hmmmmm, a project in the works maybe.

Cool! Where did You manage to find that grill cloth?

Ampeg doesnt sell it but I managed to find a small chunk about the size of a 210 cab with a hole in it - luckily I was able to cut a piece the size of the grill out of that and make it work. I ordered a replacement grill from Fliptops.com and removed the fabric (....tons of staples) so I could use the wood and fasteners. Im gonna save the original grill so I can return it to its "vintage" state if I ever want to.

That looks great. I'm glad the chunk you 'found' was big enough, because I would speculate that it wasn't measured when it was cut. But that is all just hearsay and rumor.
