'74 P-bass for $5000 on e-bay - ***?

I know what you mean. I have a '73 precision, all original, that is so sweet I get misty-eyed when I play it (which is often) and I'd sell it for $3000. I don't know if I would be as generous as you on the shipping though.

You could get a Custom Shop w/an Ash body and any innards you wanted and have it finished as (any color or burst) either a 'relic' or 'mint' for less with no questions about pedigree & it would be clean.
