8 string bass?

I was just curious how hard in general is it to play an eight string bass?

If you're talking about a 4 string with octave strings-it's not hard at all. You have to get used to fretting a little harder and might have to flatten your fingerprint a little. Bends can be tough. Medium scale 8's are neat. Getting them tuned is harder than playing them.
