Hi Friends. I'm starting this new thread with a great project for a great player.

Scott Fernandez needs no introduction. He is one of the bassist with better projection in this moment, because his playing style, personality and humanity.

Like everybody knows, he plays BIG basses; a 12 string single course and a 18 string triple course. Also, he plays a 4 string, too :)

With this new 8 string, we'll try to create something very versatile, an instrument capable to be played with all kind of techniques (fingering, slap, tapping...) but flexible at the same time, to adapt most of Scott's ERB songs.

Also, it is going to be so compact at the same time, because the Headless system.

These are the specs:

-8 string bass
-Prat Reverse shape
-Headless
-36" to 34" multi scale with fanned frets
-Birdseye maple, 28 frets
-7 pieces neck: padouk with curly maple stripes
-Curly maple body cores, with full camphor burl top and back
-Villex pickups
-Noll 3 band totally parametric preamp
-ETS headless system
