Byyewdifal! I have yet to see one in person. My gut tells me that it would weigh a ton and would be hard to play but videos say otherwise.

I played the 6 string model in store and didn't think it was too bad honestly. I order the 5 string because I can't handle the 17mm string spacing. I'm super excited and just got an update that it will. Be here tomorrow!
 
I don't think any of fender's pickups sound bad. But what fender has done that works is differentiating between their high end and entry level instruments to keep the public image of their highest quality products very high. Gibson did the same thing with epiphone.

Btw I have a fender MIM jazz and a squier P that I adore, jut prefer my ibby.

agreed, they only put the really good sounding pickups in the stuff that NEEDS to be competitive.
