Lots of great ideas so far, so I won't repeat:
- Ibanez RB800 in sea foam green
A friend always called it Billy Ocean blue lol,, but I think that's the sea foam green. The others are black and pearl.Do you have it in that jellybean blue color? Loved that finish on that bass!
ok, I joined an 80s band. I love the music of the 80s. The band has great Musicans and should be a lot of fun. I play a 2008 mia P bass. A very standerd bass my back up is a Jazz. What would be your ultimate 80s bass?
I was thinking a Musicman Stingray. What do you think?
'80s? NO NO NO NO -
Think POINTY and BLACK. Sadly, few of those are really nice basses - but there are a few. I had a MIJ Charvel that wasn't a bad 4 string - needed better pickups / hardware, but the neck was straight. And it as black and pointy as hell!
To me, nothing says 80's like...

Probably depends on the individual instrument. I had two bc rich mockingbird guitars. One was decent weight, one was wearing an anvil around your neckThe BC Rich basses were cool but very heavy as I remember....
Fast forward to the 3:50 mark
What Ibanez model is this?
