When wiring two 9 volt batteries together for 18 volts is it series or parallel ?
( I feel so stupid, I'm thinking series but I'm just not sure...)

Series = double voltage
Parallel = double capacity
Series = double voltage
Parallel = double capacity
"Double Capacity" would mean "up to" double the battery life. It won't be, but it will be longer than one alone.

I think I'll go with parallel, longer battery life sounds good to me.... since I'm trying to sorta recapture my old '76 MM String Ray vibe, and it was 9 volts, I'll stick to the 9 volt solution....
