I on the other hand despise Eveready batteries. In too many applications (not just MI) with low draw, they just do not last as long as Duracells. Not at all for me. I won't trust them at all.
As for rechargables, the problem is that (at least older technlology) a fully charged rechargable battery is only charged to about 8.00 VDC. And many audio applications require a minimum of 7.5 VDC, so they drain pretty quickly. We tried rechargables in our wireless mics, and couldn't depend on them for a whole night (three or four sets).

I use Power Bug batteries. They seem to last forever. Unfortunately they are no longer in business. Luckily I bought up a few boxes while they were still around.
